The verbal discourse will achieve nothing; all that is in the depth of heart cannot be described.

Although I have described openly hundreds of secrets; yet I am left with a (secret) point which cannot be penned down.

If I describe, it becomes more complicated; verbal expressions result in concealing it further.

This point derives warmth (wisdom) from my vision and my pre-dawn prayers.

Your mother taught you the first lesson (la ilah); your flower blossomed because of (her acting like) morning breeze.

Your colour and fragrance is because of that breeze; you are our asset, but your value is because of her (efforts).

You acquired everlasting worthiness from her as you leant la ilah from her.

O my son! Now get the vision from me; learn from me to smoulder in the fire of la ilah.

When you say la ilah (no god except Allah), say it from the depth of your heart; so that your body is drenched in fragrance of the spirit.

Moon and Sun revolve because of the force of la ilah; I have seen its force pulsating in mountains and straws.

These two words ‘la ilah’ aren’t just verbal expression, but a sword out of its (scabbard) cover.

Living with it is qa’hari (ability to punish with impunity); la ilah is not just a blow, but a fatal blow.

True Muslim and a slave of others? Muslim and indulging in betrayal, disunity and hunger?

Contemporary Muslim has sold his faith and Millat cheap; he has burnt his house and house-hold.

Once his prayer was nothing but la ilah, not now; once he was proud in humility (state of being humble), not now.

Now his prayers and fasting lack the flare of faith; his world is devoid of the Divine light.

He who once considered Allah enough for himself is now caught in the lust for wealth and fear of death.

He has lost esthetics and ecstasy of belief (in Allah); religion is confined to the Book and Muslim is in grave.

He has adapted to contemporary times; he now learns religion from fake prophets.

One of them is Irani (Baha Ullah) and other Indian (Mirza Qadiani); first abrogated Haj and the other Jihad.

When Haj and Jihad are out the spirit of fasting and prayer (namaz) also diminishes.

When the spirit of fasting and prayers is gone then individual is rendered unshackled and the nation (millat) is left without any systemic regulation.

When hearts are deprived of warmth of Holy Qur’an what good can be expected from such people?

Muslim has abandoned Khudi. O’Khyzer (A.S.) come to help the water has gone above heads.

That sajdah (that part of prostration in which the forehead touches the ground) which causes the earth to tremble; and the heavens start revolving according to his will.

If the forehead (bearing mark of sajdah) touches a stone it would melt and evaporate into the air.

Now-a-days, prostration before Allah in no more than bowing that reflects weakness and exhaustion of old age.

Where is elegance and grace of ‘Rabbi-al-ala’a’? Is it his sin or a decree against us?

Everybody is sprinting of his respective track; like a female camel without rein (unlike horses it is fixed by pricking the partition of the nose).

Qur’an is in the hand (in possession) but there is no urge (for doing noble things). Strange! Very strange! Very very strange!

If Allah grants you vision; look (peep into) the future.

Intellect of contemporary man is obstinate, his heart lacks tender feeling; his eyes are shameless and he is lost in superficial worldly beauty.

Knowledge and art, religion and politics, mind and heart; everything is divided into groups and have become materialistic (material worshiper).

Asia, the land of rising Sun, is hidden from itself and busy watching others.

Its heart is empty of new ideas and ambitions; his thoughts and ideas are not worth penny.

In this old (ancient) world his life has become static, frozen and without desire for new things.

He has become prey to clerics and kings; the gazelle of his though is lame and limping (lacks sharp and conclusive thought).

His intellect, faith, wisdom, self-respect and honour have been slung into the game-carrier of Frangis

I have invaded his domain of thought and have unveiled its secrets.

I have bled my heart to change his world.

I have said two things to contemporary thinkers; I have poured two oceans into these two pots.

I have used both indirect and direct methods so that I prey heart and mind of contemporary people.

Like the Western style I have used multi-layered words and I have also used strings of my musical instrument to produce melody (in the form of my poetry).

One is zikr (expression) in essence and the other is fikr (thought); I pray you become heir to both zikr and fikr.

I am a stream, these two oceans are my source (origin); my flowing out from the source is separation as well as audience (unity).

Because my contemporary time has different kind of temperament; so I too have stirred a different kind of confrontation.

Our youth is thirsty but their glasses are empty; their faces are shining, intellect bright but their souls are in darkness.

Short-sighted, lacking faith and in despair; their eyes can’t see anything in this world.

The ignorant deny their own greatness but believe in others and that is why (the idol worshiper) moulds bricks out of his clay to build a temple for himself.

Their school does not know what it wants to achieve, because it is incapable of reaching the soul.

Teachers have deprived the youth of the light of the soul; that is why not a single ‘attractive flower’ has sprouted from their (schools) branches.

Our builders (teachers) lay wrongly the very first brick of foundation; they teach the ways of ducklings to chicks of falcon.

Unless knowledge does not acquire warmth from the state of being, heart cannot relish the act (of life).

The aim of education is nothing but to explain the position of human beings in this world and its indicators.

Only after having been through the fire of awareness that human can distinguish between his silver and bronze.

The knowledge of God (Allah) is first acquired through senses but ultimate perception (comprehension) through observation alone is not possible.

You learn hundreds of books from learned teachers but the knowledge (awareness) acquired attention (of men having insight) is far better than bookish knowledge.

The vine that drips through eyes (attention) affects different people in different ways.

(Just as) morning breeze extinguishes a candle (lamp); but a bud of lalah turns into glass of wine (blossoms into fully-fledged flower.

Eat less, sleep less, speak less and like a compass keep revolving around one point (the inner self, the soul).

According to Mulla (cleric) one who denies God is an infidel (unbeliever) and to me the one who denies his own greatness is kafir (infidel).

One who denies God commits a sin of ajol (acting in haste without pondering); denying oneself commits triple sin of haste, cruelty and ignorance.

Remain steadfast on right path, get rid of fear of kings and lords (submit only to Allah).

In anger and happiness, do not falter in doing justice; do not stray away from ‘middle path’ in poverty and affluence.

When commandments (Hudood Allah) are difficult (to comprehend) do not venture interpreting it, seek guidance from your inner light.

Protect your soul with abundant zikr-o-fikr (remembering and thinking about Allah); and protection of body lies in controlling the lust of youth.

Higher positions of honour in this world and hereafter can only be achieved through protection of soul and body.

To seek pleasure is the aim of traveling; if you cannot control the urge of looking back towards the nest, do not fly.

The crescent revolves to become full moon; but man’s journey has no destination (he keeps rising higher and higher).

Life is nothing except enjoy the flying; nest (halt) is forbidden in man’s journey (in this world).

Livelihood of vultures and crows lies in the dead; eagles find it under the moon and sun (while flying in the sky).

The secret of Deen (religion) lies in speaking truth and eating Halal (honestly earned livelihood) and remain in the audience Allah both in when alone or in company of others.

In belief live hard solid like Almas (precious stone); remain in touch with Allah and be free of all kinds of apprehensions,

I tell you one of the secrets of Deen; it is from the biography of Sultan Muzaffar.

He excelled in sincerity and righteousness of his deeds; he was a king but a (God’s man) like Bayazid Bistami (R.A.)

He had a horse that was dear to him like a son; that horse was strived hard like his owner.

Pure Arabian horse of greenish colour; faithful, faultless and of pure breed.

O wise man! Nothing is dear to Momin (Muslim) more than Qur’an, sword and a horse.

What can I tell you about qualities of that unique animal; it could pass over mountains and river like wind.

It would get alert the moment it sensed that a battlefield was around and cover the distance in no time.

It would strive and struggle hectically; its hoofs would crush stones into sand.

One day that horse respected like humans suffered from stomach pain and had gone weak.

Veterinarian treated him with wine and the horse recovered from pain.

But because of that the king never rode it; that is the way of taqwa, which is different from ours.

May Allah bless you with such a heart and soul; see, what the submission of a Muslim (to Allah) means?

What is Deen? It is to smoulder in urge for submission to Allah; it its beginning is respectfulness and zenith is ishq (True Love).

Flower’s elegance (grace) is because of its colour and fragrance; disrespectful has no colour, no fragrance; so he is disgraceful.

When I see a disobedient youth; my day turns dark like a night.

It adds to restlessness of my heart; I am reminded of the days of Hazoor Mustafa (S.A.W.)

I regret my contemporary era and I take refuge in the past.

Woman’s dress (protection of her body and honour) is her husband or her grave; for man it is to stay away from bad company.

Talking foul (evil) is a mistake; Kafir (nonbeliever) and Momin (believer) all are creation of Allah.

Humanity means respect for other human beings; you must acknowledge the respectful position of a human being.

To establish relations with each other and discipline that with that with tolerance; this is the right path, move on that.

Man with True Love treading God’s path is kind to Kafir and Momin.

Always remain mindful of Kufr-o-Deen; lament the heart that distances (avoids) itself from other hearts

Though the heart is placed in the prison of the body, yet the entire heaven is its heaven.

No matter how big landlord you might become; never give up faqr. (Faqr: Allamah has used this word for conveying different meanings such as indifferent to vicissitudes of material life; continence, sublimation, self-restraint, self-satisfaction, and so on.)

The fire of fiqr is dormant in your soul; this old wine is from your ancestors.

Do not seek anything in this world other than tender heart; whatever you want; seek from Allah, not from the king.

Even many of the righteous and wise people are blinded by the affluence (of wealth).

Affluence takes away tenderness from heart; it takes away humility and sows (seeds of) arrogance.

I have traveled in the world for years; I have seldom seen wet eyes of the rich.

I love immensely love that man who leads a life practicing faqr and feel sorry for the one who has forgotten Allah.

There is no zeal and zest in contemporary Muslims; do not look for colour and fragrance of faith (he is devoid of it).

Educated do not care about knowledge the knowledge of Qur’an; Mullahs are like ferocious wolves.

Though there is noise of ‘ha-o-hoo’ in their shrines; yet there is no strongman amongst them with a glass wine (of Unity) in his hand.

The Muslims impressed of the West search for Kausar (name of a spring in the heaven) in mirage.

All of them are unaware of the secrets of Deen; they are not the followers of Deen, they are Ehl-e-Keen (those who foster enmities).

I have not seen any good in the elite (rich), but common people (poor) are righteous and truthful.

Differentiate between Ehl-e-Keen and Ehl-e-Deen; look for a man of God and seek his company.

The ways and habits of vultures are different and flight of eagles is impressively elegant.

Man of God strikes like lightening and sets ablaze cities and deserts of east and west like firewood.

We are still lying in the dark spot of the world, but he is busy administrating the world.

He is Kalim (Moses A.S.), he is Masih (Jesus A.S.), he is Khalil (Ibrahim A.S.); he is Muhammad (S.A.W.), he is the Book, he is Jibril (A.S.)

He is a sun for the people with hearts; their lives are because of his rays (prophets are the best example of men of God).

Man of God first burns you in his own furnace; he then teaches you the royal ways.

It is his fire that grants us a heart; otherwise we are just fake beings moulded out of soil and moisture.

I am scared of the era in which you have born; this era is has drowned (lost) in the body and unaware of soul.

When body loses its value due to drought in his soul; then men of God is concealed within him (body).

No quest can find (rediscover) that man of God; though he is always present right in front of you.

Yet you must keep your quest going even if you face numerous hardships in doing that.

If you do not find the company of an aware man then whatever I have inherited from ancestors, you get it from me.

Adopt the company of Pir Rumi, so that Allah blesses you (your heart) the warmth and tenderness.

As Rumi could differentiate between husk and the grain so he enters the street of the Friend sure-footed.

People have explained his poetry, but have not understood him; meanings of his poetry remained elusive like gazelle.

Bodies of people have whirled reciting his poetry, but their souls remained blind unable to whirl).

Body’s dance only raises the dust; but soul’s dance causes upheaval in the heavens (initiates change, revolution).sets the

Soul’s dance not only gets you knowledge and understanding, but also gets you this world and heavens.

Individual acquires from this acquires the ability like Moses A.S. (of talking to his Creator); the nation (millat) acquires a great country (empire).

It is not easy to learn the dance of the soul; one learns it only by torching all the fake gods.

O my son! You can never learn the dance of the soul until you rid yourself from greedily looking towards fake gods and then feel sorry on getting nothing.

Sorrow and despair are symptoms of weak Ayiman (faith). O my son! Sorrow and despair is half of old-age.

Do you understand that greed is perpetual destitution; I am at the service of the man who has control over himself (controls his desires).

O my son! You are source ofsatisfaction for my restless heart; if you learn dance of the soul;

This is the secret of Deen of Mustafa (S.A.W.) which I am telling you; then I will pray for you even from my grave.
